XAT 2020 Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

For XAT exam only two months left, so revised the xat exam pattern once again because of XAT exam pattern has changed and remove some section and reduce the exam time from half-hour.

1. Test Duration: 3 hours

XAT exam 2020 Section-Wise Pattern:
  • Decision Making: This section has 21-24 questions
  • Verbal and Logical Ability: This section has 24-26 question
  • Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation: This section has 27 questions
  • General Knowledge: This section has 25 questions

XAT Exam Pattern Highlights:

  1. Total number of questions between 97-100 questions
  2. Candidate needs to choose 1 correct answer from out of the 5 choices

What XAT Exam 2020?

XAT stands for Xavier Aptitude Test. This is the next big exam for MBA Aspirant after CAT exam. XAT Exam is the entrance test which is conducted by the Xavier Labour Relation Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur on the behalf of Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI) for the last 60 years.

This test score accepted by the XLRI and other top tier management institutes in India.


What XAT Exam 2020 Eligibility:

  1. Candidates must have a recognized Bachelor's Degree of minimum three years duration or equivalent in any discipline.
  2. Final year students completing their final examination by June 10, 2020, are also eligible to apply.
  3. Indian candidates interested in XAT affiliated colleges must appear for XAT 2020.
  4. Indian candidates interested in GMP at XLRI can apply through GMAT score as well.
  5. NRI candidates interested in BM, HRM and GMP at XLRI can apply through GMAT score

  2. Exam time is 3 hours, start at 9:30 am to 12:30 pm

SNAP eligibility criteria are defined by the Symbiosis International University(SIU). Eligibility for the entrance exam of SNAP Exam 2019 which will be held on 15 December 2019 are mentioned below:
  1. Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks for general category and SC/ST is 45% marks
  2. Who candidate appearing for the final year examinations they can also apply for the exam.
  3. There is no age limit to apply for the SNAP Exam.
  4. For foreign students, they can also apply for the exam but they should have certification from the Association of Indian Universities(AIU) to fulfill the eligibility criteria.
  5. Students having backlogs/fails in their final exam can’t apply for a test.
